Meeting Information
Regular Meetings
The Chapter attempts to conduct monthly meetings (with the exception
of July and August) in at least one location each month, though more
are being worked on.
Meetings are continually being planned for New York City, Northern
New Jersey, and next, Westchester County in New York. Meetings include
speakers who discuss a range of topics related to technical communication.
Recent meetings included Web2.0, Agile, Localization, WIKI & CMS,
FrameMaker, future meetings on Human Factors and API/SDK writing, and
recent speakers such as Dr. Hackos. These meetings are a good opportunity
to meet fellow Chapter members and officers, and to network (good for new
up-and-coming writers and freelancers). Check the

Special Events
The Chapter also holds various special events, such as the
Competition Awards Dinner and other events throughout the
year. Be sure to check the Chapter Events
Calendar periodically to learn about late-breaking events.
Reservations
Space is limited, so reservations and payment are required
in advance for all Chapter meetings. Meetings are managed by
the online CVent service. Access the specific meeting notice
of the meeting you wish to attend to register for that meeting.
