We are pleased to announce a joint meeting between ASTDNY and STCNY on an area of mutual interest, designing mLearning for smartphones. Joe Ganci comes to STCNY from the mLearning DevCon conference 2011. Do come early and join in the networking!

With the increase in adoption of mobile devices and their ever-increasing capabilities and power, it's important to understand how best to develop eLearning applications for phones and tablets.
Session participants will discuss the differences between developing eLearning for laptop and desktop computers and developing it for devices with smaller resolutions and more limited resources. You'll see examples of mobile learning and learn about designing, developing and testing mLearning applications.

In this session, you will learn:

■  The benefits, drawbacks, and challenges of delivery on mobile devices
■  How to design for best results
■  How to develop a process that will avoid issues
■  How to test and finesse the process
■  How to develop mlearning applications
