Membership Committee
This committee gets involved in all aspects of the chapter. We need volunteers
to assist with membership drives and related programs.
Educational Committee
This is an opportunity for someone to work with local area colleges, universities and
high schools. We are expanding our scholarship and mentoring programs.
Chapter Lending Library
Our new library is being set up at Farleigh Dickinson University. We need someone
to select titles, etc.
Newsletter Staff
We publish the MetroVoice, the official
newsletter of the New York Metro STC in HTML format. You may contribute articles
of interest.
Public Relations Committee
The committee designs and develops advertisements, brochures and marketing materials
to be used in mixed-media advertising.
Speak at a Meeting
Contributing Writer for
MetroVoice and TieLine
We are currently establishing a network of writers for these publications.
Arts & Publications Competition
Held annually, this competition requires coordination, publishing, and judging.
We are now looking for help with next year’s competition.
Meeting Coordinators
We need Location Coordinators at our meeting sites. The meeting sites
may be in your area.
Single-Day Events
The chapter hosts many events in which you could participate on an "as needed" basis.
Networking Committee
Our new Networking Committee facilitates networking among chapter members. They
are now coordinating members who use America Online.
